Live a Super Life in Cindy Crawford’s Former Malibu Beach Home

I’ve always had a girl-crush on supermodel Cindy Crawford. She was the beauty with the brains.
The DeKalb, Illinois, native went from shucking corn to appearing on more than 500 magazine covers. And even if you’ve never looked at a fashion magazine (and are over, say, the age of 40), you probably remember her in that epic 1992 Super Bowl Pepsi commercial.

Another thing about successful supermodels. They often live in super fabulous homes with equally super prices. Case in point: Crawford’s former Malibu estate, which just hit the market for a whopping $99.5 million. The 7,450-square-foot Mediterranean-style mansion, which sits on three acres of waterfront property above El Sol Beach, ranks as one of LA’s most expensive listings.
The current owner is retired hedge-fund manager Adam Weiss, who purchased the estate for $45 million in 2018 from Crawford and her husband, entertainment entrepreneur Rande Gerber.
“You wake up in the morning and you can see dolphins out the window,” Weiss told the Wall Street Journal.

Future homeowners will also be able to walk down a private walkway to a secluded beach. Or perfect their serve on the home’s tennis court. There’s also a gym, pool, meditation deck, spa, and cabana.
And did we mention the small canyon to the south?
In addition to being a popular bird habitat, it provides protection from rough coastal winds.

Inside, a spacious, light-filled great room combines the living room, den, dining area, and gourmet kitchen. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors optimize panoramic ocean views. Just outside, there’s an expansive wrap-around deck and firepit.
An ultra-luxe primary suite features a fireplace, sitting area, dual spa-like bathrooms, plus a model-worthy walk-in closet. The home also has two additional en-suite bedrooms, a media room, and a fourth bedroom complete with a private entrance, kitchen, and bath.
Why leave all this luxury?
Weiss and his wife, Yellowstone actress Barrett Swatek, are headed to Hawaii where they’ve already purchased a swanky $45 million estate on Maui. (Fun fact: It was the second-priciest home sale in state history, just under the $46 million sale of a residence on Kauai in 2018, according to the Real Deal.)

As for Crawford and Gerber, they have plenty of other housing options. The pair’s real estate portfolio includes a home in La Quinta’s Madison Club in Palm Springs, a lake cottage in Canada, and a $3 million condo in The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Miami Beach.
Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker Real Estate holds the Malibu listing for 33218 Pacific Coast Highway.
