What In The World Are They Building at 3809 Mockingbird?
Share News:
Recall when I first saw this very interesting home going up over on Mockingbird a few months ago? Owned by a Lim Lin of Murphy, Texas. Today Merritt Patterson had something up about it in the Park Cities People Blog, and what concerns me is there doesn’t seem to be a lot of progress made since March 10. (See Merritt’s photo below mine.) So what gives?

The reason I loved living on Swiss Avenue for all of those years is becasue I would never wake up and have this style home built next to me. It is a shame that Highland Park does not have stronger design and building codes to stop this. I feel sorry for the neighbor to the right of this house becasue it just dropped his property values in an already depressed market.

Thanks Ken! I'd love to hear more from you on the wonders of Swiss Ave — one of my favorite hoods!

Concrete box with few windows. I think the style is known as Abbottabad inspired by Osama’s hideout.
Its not concrete, Its metal.

The side yard is for goats and burning garbage. The occupant must be very important.
