True confession. I’ve always had a huge crush on Jon Bon Jovi. So, any excuse to google YouTube videos of “Livin’ on a Prayer” or “You Give Love A Bad Name,” I’m in. And that Twister scene with Sarah Jessica Parker in season two of Sex and the City? Epic.

Flashback 23 years: JCJ and SJP have a Twister date.
The crushable singer rocked multiple Rolling Stone covers in the 80s.

Turns out, the eternally cool rocker just listed his New York City pied-à-terre. Priced at $22 million, the sprawling 3,951-square-foot condo is located on a high floor of The Greenwich Lane, a multi-building complex in the heart of the West Village.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Bon Jovi also owns myriad other properties. In 2020, he added a $43 million oceanfront mansion in Palm Beach to a real estate portfolio that includes a 15-acre riverside estate in Middletown, N.J. and a 1.5-acre home in the Hamptons.

The living room features two separate seating areas.

As for the newly-listed NYC condo, a private elevator opens directly into the foyer and entrance gallery. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer dramatic east, south, and west exposures complete with glass-railed Juliet balconies and uninterrupted views of lower Manhattan and the Hudson River.

The massive 40-foot living room is large enough to accommodate two seating areas.

Stained dark-chocolate oak floorboards perfectly complement cream-colored geometric wall coverings. There’s also a gourmet chef’s kitchen with Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Miele appliances, custom walnut cabinetry, and grey marble countertops. An adjoining eating area opens up to a corner balcony.

The chef’s kitchen sports state-of-the-art appliances.

One of the original bedrooms was reconfigured into a den.

When Bon Jovi purchased the apartment back in 2017 for around $19 million, it had four bedrooms, four full baths, and one-half bath. A reconfiguration transformed the largest of the family/guest suites into a den/office space.

Promo materials describe the primary bath as a “light-filled bathing sanctuary” — think mosaic marble detailing, heated marble floor, custom millwork, and oversized soaking tub. The primary suite also has a custom walk-in closet.

A hotel-worthy primary suite features city views.

A-list neighbors include fashion designer Michael Kors, shoe maven Tamara Mellon, and former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz.

Among The Greenwich Lane’s plethora of amenities: cold storage for food and flower deliveries, 21-seat screening room, private dining room with catering kitchen, and garden with reflecting pool. A state-of-the-art fitness center sports a golf simulator, 75-foot pool, and steam and spa treatment rooms.

Proof that the Manhattan luxury market is thriving: Signed contracts for condos over $20 million increased 150 percent year-over-year.

Buyers may also want to ask if the $22M price tag includes tickets to Bon Jovi’s 2022 Tour, which kicks off in April. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band is slated to perform in Dallas on April 28th.
