To help you out, I have found three of the best national parks to visit during the spring, as well as a wonderful second home near said park that will make it the go-to place for friends and family.
Spring Over to Joshua Tree Then Palm Springs
Joshua Tree National Park is like a shot of B-12 to your senses. The cool spring temperatures give you the opportunity to go on scenic hikes or take a turn at rock climbing.
The park is the meeting point of two different desert systems, the Mojave and Colorado Deserts. That means you will see various forms of plant life from Ocotillo plants to cholla cacti to California fan palms and, of course, Joshua Trees.
Located just 35 miles away is the oasis known as Palm Springs.
