Home is where the art is — literally. (Serhant)

If home is where the art is, we’ve found two properties that fit the bill — albeit for different reasons. One is perfect for displaying artwork; the other is a work of art in and of itself.

This 8,314-square-foot South Florida stunner is owned by supermodel/entrepreneur Elle Macpherson. Located in tony Coral Gables, the spacious house sports minimalist rooms, high ceilings, and tons of wall space.

Yet instead of feeling austere, there’s warm modernity thanks to architect Chad Oppenheim and AD100 designer Sawyer Benson. Macpherson, who’s been collecting art since the 1980s, tapped the duo to create a space that would “take the best of what you already have and repurpose it for a new life.”

Indeed.

Turns out, the supermodel has a superstar collection.

We’re talking works by Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Richard Prince, Keith Haring, Kenny Scharf, Lucian Freud, Tracey Emin, and Damien Hirst, along with furniture by Pierre Jeanneret, Jean Royère, and Mathieu Matégot.

And if we haven’t dropped enough names, Enzo Enea designed the property’s 1.71-acres of lushly manicured grounds. There’s also a saltwater pool surrounded by live oaks. An added bonus: lemon, orange, and mango trees. And did we mention the organic veggie garden?

Naturally, the primary suite includes a pair of huge walk-in closets. (We’re guessing Macpherson also has a model-worthy wardrobe.) Other highlights include a sweeping living/dining/entertaining area and an all-white chefs kitchen with marble counters.

Douglas Elliman agent Pablo Alfaro holds the listing for 9550 Journeys End Road, Coral Gables. The asking price is $29 million.

“It’s not often you have the opportunity to acquire an art piece as well as a home,” reads the Serhant listing for this Soho property.

Yet it comes as no surprise, considering it’s the home of renowned conceptual artist and photographer Michael Somoroff and acclaimed architect Stephen Wanta.

The three-bedroom loft apartment boasts an abundance of authentic details including 13.5-foot beam ceilings and cast-iron columns. A light-filled great room features six oversized wooden-frame windows.

The post-modern style living and dining areas sport floor-to-ceiling sculptural volumes, individually crafted in Italian Marmoline by artisans on-site. Other showstoppers include a raised stage in front the library, deep-soaking jacuzzi off the primary bedroom, and giant illuminating whale sculpture.

There’s also an eat-in kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances and ample storage and counter space.

“Available for the first time in 25 years, this work of art is one of the most singularly unique properties, not only in Soho, but in all of NYC,” touts the listing.

Asking price for 112 Prince Street, NYC is $4.749 million. Listing agent for the 2500-square foot property is Katie Thurber of Serhant.
