It’s always a plus when a second home is move-in ready. But when it’s a supremely chic Miami Beach manse designed and furnished by Italian “starchitect” Achille Salvagni, get ready to be wowed.

Everything about this modern, two-level, 7,951-square-foot home screams style. “I aimed to combine clean, modern lines with pops of color reminiscent of Gio Ponti and the bold architecture that defined 1950s Miami,” Salvagni told Galerie. “I wanted to create an environment where my clients could escape and feel like they were living the glory days.”

The property sits on roughly a third of an acre, including 111 feet of waterfront on exclusive Surprise Lake. Listing agent Oren Alexander describes the newly-completed estate as a “collector’s dream home.”

The Douglas Elliman Realtor provide a bit of backstory: Salvagni was originally commissioned by an overseas buyer to design both the exterior and interior of the house. But COVID-restricted travel, paired with Miami’s booming luxury market, prompted the decision to sell rather than move in.

Despite its $21 million price tag, Alexander anticipates interest will be off the charts.

“If you compare us to New York, L.A. or any other major city, Miami has the least amount of inventory, so that’s kind of what’s driving this surge.”

Among the amenities: a 90-foot infinity pool.

Design features include curvilinear walls, dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows, and sweeping roof lines. Dark wood on the entryway elegantly accentuates the exterior’s sleek white paint and pavers.

The professional chef’s kitchen features a curvy island and custom cabinetry adorned with 24-karat gold-leaf detailing.

A grand foyer opens up to a double-height living room overlooking the pool, garden, and waterfront. The ground level also includes a dining room, chef’s kitchen with Wolf and Subzero appliances and gold-accented sculptural cabinetry, a steam room, and two of seven bedrooms.

Upstairs, the spacious and stylish primary suite features a spa-like bath, swoon-worthy walk-in closets, and a private deck with views of the pool.

All materials used throughout the property are extraordinary, from Italian-sourced rare stone to Belgium Black marble. The home also features fine woods including French polished mahogany and natural oak.

And yes, everything within the ultra-glam residence is for sale. Asking price: an additional $1.2 million.

Salvagni not only custom crafted many of the furnishings and lighting fixtures, but hand-selected a covetable collection of 20th-century European pieces by the likes of Paolo Buffa, Stilnovo, Fontana Arte, Serge Mouille, Pierre Guariche, Angelo Lelli, and Marco Zanuso.

“This property is beyond comparison to any other Miami Beach home available right now,” says Alexander. “The depth and detail of the artistry and craftsmanship has to be seen to be understood.”

The seven-bedroom, six bath, one half-bath home is located at 810 Lakeview Drive, La Gorce, Miami Beach.
