Sun. Sand. Ocean breezes. Have we got your attention? Get ready to be wowed: These ultra-luxe Caribbean treehouses, on the tiny mountainous island of Dominica in the Lesser Antilles, are being transformed into a high-end residential community.

The Green Global-certified villas are part of Secret Bay, one of only seven prestigious Relais & Châteaux-owned properties. In 2020, the resort ranked #6 among Travel + Leisure’s Best Hotels in the World.

Secret Bay tapped architect Claude Lauture for the project.

But wait. There’s more. These 42 exclusive fully-furnished homes come with a rare and sought-after bonus. For an additional $218,000, buyers can purchase second citizenship status and a passport.

According to the Robb Report, now is the time to buy into the resort’s secluded splendor.

Each of the newly-completed Ti-Fey treehouses are designed by architect Claude Lauture and sustainably built using Guyanese Greenheart hardwoods. Many of the furnishing are handcrafted by local artisans.

Bungalows are within walking distance of two private beaches and views are off-the-charts (think water, mountain, and rainforest). Each decked-out treehouse also sports a gourmet kitchen, plunge pool, and private patio. Square footage ranges from 1,680 to 1,830; opening price point is $1.49 million.

Need more space? Slated for completion next year, architecturally stunning, three-bedroom Clifftop estates will feature 3,500 square feet of covered living space.

One of the property’s most intriguing amenities is beach access via a funicular railway. All homes also come outfitted with state-of-the-art appliances, from a Siemens suite in the kitchen to Breville panini presses and De’Longhi espresso makers. Prices start at $4.1 million.

The open-air restaurant serves up local specialties.

Services are plentiful, just as you’d expect from a six-star resort. Owners can take advantage of the open-air restaurant, treehouse-style spa, wellness pavilion, and sunset deck. A micro-brewery and curated art gallery are in the works.

The community will have no trouble staying exclusive. Secret Bay owner and Dominica native Gregor Nassief intends to preserve the much-lauded eco-friendly aspect of the resort. Less than s7 percent of the land is designated for development, says the Robb Report.

Secret Bay villas are the ultimate WFH retreat for the pandemic-weary.
The resort’s treehouse spa has a calm, soothing vibe.

The resort is also offering a Six-Star Workcation Retreat. Thirty-day packages are designed to “shift your mindset, rejuvenate your senses and foster unrivaled creativity,” says the Secret Bay website.

“It’s everything you need to successfully WFH from the comfort of your private freestanding sanctuary.”

We’re all in if the $40,000 price tag doesn’t stress us out too much.
