A Second Home For Dogs, Too: Dallas Real Estate for Pampered Pets

I’ve heard about this place from my Chicago buds: Paradise 4 Paws, a resort for pooches located at O’Hare and Midway airports in Chicago. Paradise 4 Paws DFW , which opened just ten days ago, is  a state-of-the-art, cage-free, crate-free pet resort offering Pet Massage Therapy, Personal Cuddle Time, and Vanilla Paw Soaks. It is conveniently located near the airport and they provide parking and shuttle service to the terminals for pet owners. In addition to offering several ways to pamper your pet, Paradise 4 Paws also has a real-time webcam in the dog areas so you can check in on your angel from the beach, mountains, or wherever you may be. 

That pool had better be 78 degrees!

The idea is this: we are going off to our second home, we need a place to drop off Bree where she will be well cared for and loved, maybe get in a little spa time. Many second home developments welcome dogs with warm private beds, like CalistogaRanch, but others (such as The Palms in Costa Rica) say no pets, mostly because they are in a foreign country. So tomorrow Bree and I are checking out the new D/FW location of Paradise 4 Paws, to see if it meets with HER approval. Trust me, Bree is way pickier than me. She will scratch the tires for you, dab a paw in the biscuit-shaped pool to see if the temperature is just right, and see what kind of crystal they use for water bowls. (We hope it’s Baccarat.)
