Ranch of the Week: Wine Lovers Paradise in Gunter, TX
Share News:
Folks, SecondShelters just got a little bit cooler. Today’s Ranch of the Week is truly an estate, with custom imported materials spread across two homes, all overlooking a private lake. The main home at 541 Hidden Lakes Blvd. is a spacious 4,462-square-feet, with three bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths.
Upon entering the main house, you’re greeted with a magnificant stone archway with attached built-in wet bar.
The main living area is open, airy, and inviting with towering ceilings, imported Saltillo floor tile, and a seriously cool entrance into the fabulous wine cellar. Can you say party house? Your guests will be so impressed with this home’s distinctly European feel.
If this wine cellar isn’t the epitome of house porn, I don’t know what is. The spiral staircase descends from the main living area into this jewel of a cellar, with custom storage for 1,500 bottles of your favorite vino. This is pretty much my version of a panic room. Not all that hidden or secret, but I feel calmer already…
The main living also features solid wooden beams from the Black Forest in Germany, as well as a stunning hand-carved wooden fireplace mantel. The carved cherubic little faces on each side are a bit Haunted Mansion, but they certainly are a conversation-starter.
The kitchen features a stainless oversized double refrigerator, island with vegetable sink, and handpainted Italian tile that you won’t find anywhere else.
The master suite is highlighted by a beautiful stone fireplace, wood floors, and not one, but two master baths. One master bath has a jacuzzi tub and Italian tile, while the other features a stand-up shower. His and hers!
But, wait! There’s more! An entire other house. The guest house is a full three-bedroom, three-and-half bath with the same lake and pool views as the main home.
The guest house is definitely not a mini-version of the main home, it’s a home all its own. High ceilings, tons of light, and many of the same features as the larger primary residence.
Weekend guests will be thrilled with their own private villa, especially the second floor master suite crowned by a private patio with lake view.
The property has amazing outdoor space, with ponds, pools, children’s play area, and two outdoor kitchens spread across a total of three acres. Horses are permitted, and the property has access to ample riding trails, golf course, and country club. There is really something for everyone.
This lovely estate is offered for $750,000 by Ebby Halliday Realtor Christine Hogan.
