Long Cove LonghornsA precious family of three just “bought” some major water-front property over at Long Cove: Betty, Wilma, and Pebbles!

And even better news: they are expecting!

The family of three Longhorns recently joined the Long Cove community settling into their new grazing home at “Longhorn Pond.” Betty is preggers and due in April, and Wilma is due later in the summer.

No word on Pebbles’ maternity status.

Malakoff tx mapLong Cove is a small “beach town community life style” on the most beautiful lake in north Texas, Cedar Creek Lake. It is about 75 miles from Dallas. The amenities and recreational lifestyle is the first of its kind for Dallas/Fort Worth residents.”

“My hope is that Long Cove gives other families a one-of-a-kind chance to enjoy Cedar Creek Lake in the way that my friends and family have for years now,” says Don McNamara, developer of Long Cove and president and CEO of Hampstead Holdings, the company developing it. In Dallas, McNamara is the the investor responsible for Dallas’ well-known CityPlace, which includes the West Village urban developments.

“This development represents a personal passion for me, and I’m thrilled to be able to introduce Long Cove to families in Dallas who are searching for that quick, convenient getaway that can be their go-to place for getting back to the basics of family life.”

The Long Cove community will be holding a naming contest for the calves, and they hope all residents start thinking of creative names. Not sure if they intend to keep the Flintstones theme going, because there is always Barney and Fred, and Dino of course.

I cannot wait for the baby shower. Question: are the calves registered at Buy, Baby, Buy?
