Aerial Shots of Troy’s Spread Courtesy of Fox 4 News: Most Expensive Home Listed in DFW?

Share News:

Nice work from Natalie Solis and the good folks at Fox 4 last night as they hauled out a helicopter to take shots of the Aikman home on Highland Drive. Naturally, the chopper brought out the neighbors while we were doing the interview. Then Steve Snyder drove by ans it was almost a street party! The neighbor told Natalie that Troy had even expressed interest in buying his home — sounds like a hip pocket next  door or… a way to expand the property even further! Sounds like Troy just wants to downsize. His 10,520-square-foot Mediterranean-style home on two lots overlooking Hackberry Creek and across from Jerry Jones includes five bedrooms, six and a half baths and multiple living areas.

It also has a four-car garage, guest quarters, multiple fire places, oodles of covered porches, dual master baths, a sports court, an exercise room, a game room, a library and a 1,300-square-foot pool and cabana area. According to listing agent Pierce Allman, this is believed to be the most expensive home currently listed in the Dallas area. Meantime, at least one housing blog is saying that Aikman will be taking a financial beating with this home, priced $8 million higher than the highest priced home in Dallas.

This price is just crazy. Do a search for homes over 20 million in the US, there is no home in the Dallas area that is worth this stupid kind of money. The realtor on this got sold the celebrity aspect of this listing and forgot to do their job, plain and simple!

Is it true he's selling to settle financial issues with Rhonda? Considering all he went thru to get the property just keep it.

No, he just wants to be rid of the memories. Wouldn't you? That is the home they built together and rumor has it the girls want to be there with Rhonda. Candy, when are you going to delight us with Troy's SECOND home… you know where it is… I hear you've been there!

Snarky and unnecessary. This common pond scum variety of chat, even on a blog is sickening.

I agree, Rebecca. Troy, like our other sports stars — Deion, Roger — are Dallas celebs like it or not. He cannot be faulted for trying to capitalize on that. I sure would. Like Candy said on channel 4 Monday, I hope he sells it and more power to you, Troy boy!

Sanders, you need to do some macro research on the economy. GDP growth is less than 2% and unemployment isn't falling. China's economy is overheated and Japan has been devastated by the Fukushima. The EU is a mess (who will default first? Greece? Spain?) This does not translate into properties selling for a premium anywhere. Cheerleading realtors sound foolish.
